Peace Haven Homes provides stable housing, shelter, jobs, and support to foster children and homeless teens in Detroit.
Peace Haven Homes was founded to address a critical gap: foster children and homeless teens in Detroit had nowhere to turn for stable housing, career support, and real opportunity. We started small, driven by the belief that every young person deserves a safe home and a path forward. Today, we continue that mission by providing emergency shelter, job placement assistance, and after-school programs that help youth build the foundation they need to thrive in our community.
Our dedicated team works directly with foster youth and homeless teens in Detroit, providing mentorship, job training, and the support needed to build stable futures.

Director of Youth Services
Michelle leads all direct-service programs for foster and homeless youth in Detroit. She brings 18 years of experience in youth development and has trained our entire staff in trauma-informed care practices.

Job Placement Coordinator
Carlos connects young people with entry-level jobs and career pathways. He works with local employers to create real opportunities and provides one-on-one coaching to help youth succeed in the workplace.

Housing Specialist
Jessica secures stable housing placements for our clients and manages lease agreements with landlords. She advocates for youth and ensures each placement includes ongoing support and follow-up care.

After-School Program Coordinator
Raj designs and runs enrichment activities that build confidence and life skills. He creates safe spaces where teens can develop hobbies, learn leadership, and build positive peer relationships.

Whether you volunteer your time or donate, you directly help foster children and homeless teens find stable housing, jobs, and hope for their future.
Peace Haven Homes partners with nonprofits, government agencies, and community organizations across Detroit to provide stable housing, emergency shelter, job training, and mentorship for foster children and homeless teens.
